On the Test of Listening Based on the Communicative Language Competence

Test of listening,one part of language test,is mainly used to test the testee’s language proficiency.The test of listening is classified in three categories: the discrete-point approach,the integrative approach and the communicative approach.The paper emphatically elaborates on the theoretic support about the test of communicative language competence and its practice in the test of listening.The author points out although the test of communicative language competence stands for the trend in language test and worth promoting,it should not be carried out regardless of necessary conditions.
