激情中的自由——茨威格的"白日梦"——从《一个陌生女人的来信》说起

斯蒂芬.茨威格喜欢描写一些具有偏执狂色彩的人物及其激情状态下的心理。他总是赋予人物某种单一的欲念(如单相恋、对赌博的痴迷等),然后加以强调、夸张,从而使之成为支配人物喜怒哀乐、决定人物生死的力量。笔者在本篇中以《一个陌生女人的来信》为例,从作家笔下描写的人物激情中所体现出来的对自由的追求、作家充满激情的创作过程和对激情人物的肯定所体现出来的对激情中自由的追求,并联系现实生活中茨威格对自由的追求这三个方面,运用弗洛伊德的"作家与白日梦"理论,认为小说中展现的这种激情中的自由正是茨威格在精神世界中所追求的,就是他的"白日梦"。

A Strange Woman's Letter: Zweig's "daydream"

Stephen Zweig loves to describe some paranoiad characters and their psychology in passion.He always gives the characters a single desire(such as single-love,obsession with gambling,etc.) and then makes it control their happiness,anger,grief and joy and decide their life and death by stressing and exaggerating it.According to Freud's "writers and daydream" theory,this article has analyzed A Strange Woman's Letter from three perspectives such as the pursuit of freedom embodied in the characters who are in passion;the pursuit of freedom embodied in the process of creation and affirmation of the characters;the pursuit of freedom embodied in author's real life to show that the Freedom in the passion is Zweig's "daydream".
