| 摘 要： | Jane Eyre in Jane Eyre and Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice are two outstanding female characters in literature.They have similar admirable qualities as well as distinctive defeats.However,they deserve careful analysis and learning.They are both well-aware of women’ s virtue-self-respect,defying power and influence,pursuit of true love and kindness.All these qualities are demonstrated incisively and vividly by their conducts.Despite their similarities,Jane and Elizabeth also differ in many aspects.Jane is more initiative in pursuing love,while Elizabeth is more humorous and poised than Jane,which makes her lovely and popular.
