语言模式的生成必然受到思维模式的控制和支配，语言行为和语言形式重现着人类历史的社会文化图像。从不同民族的习用语中，可以窥探其独特的造词心理和文化传统。为汉语惯用语探源，不是为了个体考证惯用语的来龙去脉，而是从整体上把握惯用语生成的心理机制和文化背景，从而从根本上解释汉语词汇系统中为什么会产生大量为汉族人所喜闻乐说的惯用语。

Probe into the Chinese Idioms

The formation of a language is primarily controlled and influenced by thoughts and ideas.The practice and form of any language is mainly derived through the socil and cultural background of a human society.The unique psychology behind word formation and cultural influence can be observed through idioms of different nations.This study primarily deals with the psychological mechanism and cultural influence in the formation of Chinese idioms as a whole,and not on researching the formation and meaning behind each individual Chinese idiom.Therefore,this study explains the reason behind why so many good Chinese idioms appeared as fundamental parts of the Chinese vocabulary.
