Exploration of the Strategies of Developing and Utilizing Geography Curriculum Resources in Middle School

The development and utilization of the curriculum resources is a highlight in basic education reform in China.Geography is rich in curriculum recourses because of its unique characteristics.These recourses include text resources,physical resources,labor resources and information resources.Teachers’ potentials in developing and utilizing geography curriculum resources should be brought out in order to activate students’ life experiences and help students to become the developer and the carrier of the curriculum resources.Teachers should also integrate the modern information technology with geography curriculum resources to make up the shortage of the physical resources,which is the core of the current basic education reform as well as the core of the quality education.
