During the late Victorian,due to the development of science technology and the vacillation of religious beliefs,pepple are indulged in material material desire and lust,which leads to confusion in cognition and identification.Wilde,who always advoactes aestheticism,not only asserts the rationality of pursuing enjoyment in life,but also realizes the disasters caused by lust indulgence.He attempts to save human beings by using Christianity and re-establishes the norms of religious moral and ethics,thus reaching to the harmonious unity of sensibility and rationality.
