论魏源的商务思想

魏源顺应历史潮流，主张本末并重，认为在国家主权下进行对外贸易是国家富强的有效途径；主张实行漕粮的商运、海运，促进商品流通，主张以票盐制取代纲盐制，即由商营取代官营，并主张允许商民自行设厂。这些思想表明，魏源是中国商务观念从封闭式向开放式发展的奠基人。

Wei Yuan's Commercial Thoughts

Adjusted to the historical trend, Wei Yuan advocated that both essence and non-essence should be important. He also thought foreign trade of sovereign state was a effective way to make the country powerful. He maintained that the merchant and sea transportation of Tribute Grain could stimulate the commercial circulation. He also advocated the reformation of Ticket Salt, e.g. private-owned instead of state-owned, and allowed merchant to set up factories. All of above show Wei Yuan was the founder of commercial thoughts developing from closing to opening.
