This article reviewed the history of the implementation of welfare projects and project evaluation that carried out by China＇s social organizations, and divided the project evaluation of China＇s social organizations into three stages of development. Project evaluation is a core part of project management, but the current domestic public welfare project evaluation is still in its infancy, there are many problems need to be continually improved and perfected.
