| 摘 要： | 当前我国高职英语的总体培养目标就是要培养学生在特定范围内运用英语的能力。专门用途英语（ESP）是英语教学的一个重要分支，它的教学理念与高职英语的培养目标一致。本文结合ESP的内涵，从理论依据和实践可操作性两方面来论证把ESP引入高职英语教学的可行性，旨在找到当前高职英语教学改革的有效途径。

| Abstract: | The higher vocational and technical education’s overall training objective of English teaching is to train students to use English skillfully in the specific circumstances.ESP(English for Specific Purposes) is an important branch of English teaching,and there is much in common between the teaching philosophy of ESP and vocational training objectives.Based on the definition of ESP,from the theoretical basis and practice aspects,this paper attempts to demonstrate the feasibility of applying ESP teaching in English Teaching of Higher Vocational Colleges,to find an effective way for English teaching reform in Higher Vocational Colleges. |
