| 摘 要： | 本文对刘熙的《释名》声训研究作了较全面的概括和归纳 ,对“以声探源”的方法进行了全方位的探索 ,尤其是通过丰富翔实的材料 ,对《释名》的地位和价值作了较深入细致的研究。本文试图通过总结前人对《释名》的评价 ,对《释名》的性质作一次较为恰当的认定 ,对《释名》的语言学价值作进一步的探讨 ,从而挖掘它的语源学价值 ,使刘熙的语言学观点得到公允的评价。

| Abstract: | This article makes a comprehensive summary of Liu Xi's ‘Shi Ming’(explanation of nouns),specializing in the approach which uses sounds to explain word meaning.Abundant and accurate materials are provided to make a thorough study of the book.By summarizing the evaluation of predecessors,the article attempts to make a fair recognition of the book's quality and a further study fo the book's linguistic value.Thus its etymological value is revealed and Liu Xi's linguistic viewpoints can be justly evaluated.
