| 摘 要： | 《中国传奇·碾玉观音》是林语堂根据《京本通俗小说》中同名话本小说改编而成。原作主要叙写封建社会中处于社会底层青年男女的爱情悲剧,重编之后,林语堂改变了原作的主题,故事的戏剧性转移到新的矛盾上,即艺术与爱情、人生之关系。《碾玉观音》的改编在《中国传奇》中较有代表性,探讨此篇的改编艺术有助于对《中国传奇》整部作品的深入研究。

| Abstract: | Lin Yu-tang＇s Famous Chinese Short Stories ＂Jade Guanyin＂ is a story which is re-composed from a Song Dynasty colloquial story of the same name. The original describes the miserable love stories between two youths from the lower class in the feudal society. Lin Yu-tang＇s adaptation of it changes the original motif,the dramaticism in the new novel has been shifted to the new conflict ——relationship between art, love and life. The adaptations of ＂Jade Guanyin＂ best represents the adaptation arts among Lin Yu-tang＇s Famous Chinese Short Stories. Study of the adaptation art contributes to the research on Lin Yu-tang＇s Famous ＂Chinese Short Stories＂. |
