| 摘 要： | 在东西方不同的文化背景下 ,中英两种语言所表现出的差异是不容忽视的。文章从比喻这一语言中最常用的修辞手法 ,来说明语言与文化的密切关系 ,并进一步指出 :在外语教学中 ,应充分认识到这点 ,做到真正意义上的跨文化交流。

| Abstract: | Under different cultural background of the East and the West, different usage between Chinese and English is not to be neglected. In this article, the close relation between language and culture is demonstrated through figuration. The writer further points out that , in language teaching and learning, this must be fully recognized, on which the inter-cultural communication in a real sense is based. |
