A Case Study of Rational-Emotive Therapy in Career Guidance for Graduates

With the rapid development of the scale of higher education, the competition of graduate employ- ment is getting more and more fierce, which has imposed great pressure on graduates. Since anxiety is a common mental phenomenon among graduates, in career guidance for graduates, it is necessary to pay attention to their mental health education to reduce their anxiety in the process of job hunting. This may help them select and hunt a suitable job. Based on a case study and working practice in career guidance, this paper elaborates the application of rational-emotive therapy for graduates to reduce their anxiety.
