The Talents Training of the Music Major in Comprehensive Universities

The music majors in comprehensive universities are recently facing an embarrassing situation that running a school is the hot spot; the major is beside the point; the training program has not any characteristics; the state of employment is quite difficult. The music majors in comprehensive universities must be aware of their role and task. In addition, the situation can be improved by the model for fostering the interdisciplinary talents combining music majors with others and establishing the system of core curriculum, and utilizing the resource of network education, and finally obtaining supports from the university.
