Russian art and Chinese oil painting and teaching

Critical realism reflected in Peredvizhniki in 1930s met the needs of Chinese ideological culture and became the ideological ground for Chinese art. After the New China was established, artistic education in USSR had great influence on Chinese oil painting and the building and development of teaching system that cultivated lots of qualified painters and teachers. Since 1989, with the relationship between Russia and China returning to normal, the art of the two countries has an equal dialogue. In the day of artistic pluralism, being realistic to Russian art is helpful to Chinese painting and teaching.
