| Abstract: | Figure of speech is mostly classified in accordance with its forming parts,therefore Mr.Chen Wangdao classifies it into simile,metaphor and metonymy.However,from the perspective of cognition,the author of the paper,by using"concrete/abstract" and "known/unknown"as axis,classified figures of speech into 8 types. |
