| 摘 要： | 本政论文的重要性是显而易见的，英译政论文则同样关键，它关系到国家的形象及对外宣传的成功与否。然而在一篇重要的政论文中，常常会出现一些如“建设”这样的高频词。这在中文里是一种很典型的现象，但在英语里，单一表达却是人们应当尽量避免的。译者应该认真思考，细致分析，推敲出最适合的的译文，尤其是在搭配方面必须符合英语表达习惯。能否处理好这一细节也是做好外宣的重要步骤。

| Abstract: | Political documents and their translations are of paramount importance as they will shape or break the image of a nation.This essay discusses the methods of the rendering of construction,one of the most frequently-used terms in the Report on the Work of the Government(2010),and claims that a variety of expression,rather than single expression,is called for to pinpoint its meaning. |
