“文化霸权”之下“他者”的命运——《微暗的火》的后殖民主义解读

《微暗的火》是一部创作手法独特、叙述技巧新颖、主题表现方式隐晦的后现代主义作品。读者、作者和文本之间的智力游戏体现在阅读和探索小说之中，小说的意义难以穷尽。笔者着眼于新的角度，运用后殖民主义理论分析导致小说叙述者之一金波特孤独人生的缘由，即身处“文化霸权”之下的外来者被“边缘化”，成为“他者”。文章进一步分析得出了金波特试图摆脱“他者”身份的方法，即按照自己的理想设计人生，建立一个摆脱现实秩序的乌托邦——影子王国。

The Other's Fate under Cultural Imperialism: A Post-Colonial Reading of Pale Fire

Pale Fire is a uniquely - designed, fancily - narrated, and complicatedly - written novel, which is one of the initial post - modernism works.
