教育学界在不少基本理论问题上需要正本清源

教育学界存在的一些错误认识,会造成教育理论从根本上产生混乱,实践上也会出现误区。对教育学的定位过窄,势必影响教育的全局发展,同时使教育学受到必然的忽视。教育产生于人类社会生活中传递文化的需要,实践中要考虑人的需求和当代文化的发展方向。教育的本质从历史长河来看,是人类传递文化的手段,实践中要坚持以人为本,以文化为本。自我教育是文化传承的另一手段,它和教育是并列关系,实践中要善于发挥主体的作用,杜绝灌输式教学。教育的作用建立在个体发展的基础之上,不放弃每一个个体,理应成为我们的基本教育准则。

The Education Sector Needs a Thoroughgoing Reform as to Many Fundamental Theoretical Issues

In the education sector, there exist some misunderstandings which may cause confusions about educational theory and misbehaviors in educational practice. A too narrow definition of pedagogy will affect the overall development of education, and make pedagogy be neglected. Education originated from the need to pass culture, so in practice the need of the contemporary people and the direction in which develops the contemporary culture should be taken into consideration. Historically, the nature of education is a means to passing culture, so in practice we should maintain the fundamental position of humans and culture as well. Self-teaching, parallel to education, is another means to passing culture, so in practice we should put the learners＇ role in full swing, and put an end to the instilling teaching method. The function of education is based on individual development, so we should make it a basic role never to give up each individual.
