民国前期地震灾害救助研究——以1920年宁夏海原地震为中心

1920年宁夏海原地震是20世纪中国震级最高的一次大地震,造成的灾害也是空前的。地震发生后,执政的北洋政府无力进行大规模的救助,便把抗震救灾的重任让渡给了民间社会。新闻媒体在这次震灾救助中发挥了前所未有的作用,甘肃旅京同乡会和华洋义赈会担当起了救灾的主力。近代中国抗震救灾的各种要件在这次震灾中已经基本具备,值得我们今天认真研究。

Study of the Earthquake Relief during the Early Times of the Republic of China

The earthquake in Haiyuan, Ningxia Autonmous Region in 1920 was the most disastrous one in the 20th century in China. After the earthquake, the Northern Warlord Government in power was incapable of rescuing, and transmitted the earthquake relief work to the folk society.
