| Abstract: | This thesis expounds the essential content of Hegel s tragic theory in tragic character, tragic con-flict and tragic sequel; and then compares the similarities and differences with Aristotle s tragic theory. It finds out the historical contribution and localization of his tragic theory, and points out his misunderstanding in oriental tragedy, meanwhile, analyses the differences of Chinese tragedy and western tragedy. |
