《红楼梦》“第一公案”反思录

薛宝钗和林黛玉孰优孰劣的问题,历来纠缠不清,以至于被列为《红楼梦》“九大公案”中的第一公案。从文学创作的角度看,曹雪芹是有意识地使两美“两峰相峙、双水分流”。从实际效果上看,人们却是智者见智、仁者见仁。受人们的身份、年龄、地位、学养等的影响,这种见仁见智,基本上属于个人。但是受政治、经济、文化、历史等的影响,这种见仁见智,却折射出时代的精神和风貌。固执地褒一贬一,都带有偏颇的成份。两美兼得,才是新世纪人文精神的指归。
