Social Integration of Immigrant Children in South Korea:Dilemma and Resolution Strategy

As a multi-ethnic country,South Korea’s massive influx of immigrant children has made its cultural diversity more apparent.The social integration of the immigrant children is related to the direction of its social development.Cultural integration,psychological integration and educational integration are the main dimensions of social integration of immigrant children,and cultural adaptation pressure,language barriers,and identification difficulties are the main dilemmas in South Korea.Through the establishment of a language education-based social support system,the implementation of cultural understanding-based multicultural education,and the improvement of citizenship policies that promote identity,it helps immigrant children better integrate into society,which provides some inspiration for social integration of migrant children in China.
