| 摘 要： | 本文通过分析《喧哗与骚动》中的两个人物 :康普生太太和昆丁·康普生 ,来探索福克纳小说中观念迷误和人生悲剧之间的内在关系 ,以反观二十世纪初的美国南方社会不同文化选择冲突的沉重性与凝滞性 ,从而为所有从传统向现代转型的时代提供一点启示。显然 ,福克纳作为一位伟大的文学家 ,当他致力于表现“人类的内心冲突问题”时 ,他的真正目的在于揭示人的精神世界的种种偏执、虚妄、迷狂 ,呼唤人们回归人性的淳朴本真。

| Abstract: | This paper,analyzing the two characters in The Sound and The Fury,i.e.Mrs.Compson and Quentin Compson,explores the inner relationship between the idea perplexity and the life tragedy in this novel,and has an insight into the conflicts and choices of different cultures in Southepn U.S.It is to provide some hints for those societies during a transforming period.Apparently,when Faulkner,as a great novelist,made effort to represent the inner conflicts of human beings,he aimed truly to show all kinds of prejudice,illusion and infatuation of man's mind and to call on people to return to the simplicity of nature. |
