| 摘 要： | 《都柏林人》是乔伊斯久负盛名的短篇小说集。作为《都柏林人》的第一个故事,《姐妹》包含了瘫痪、腐败、死亡这三个后来在全书中不断重现的主题。正是这些主题把这15个短篇故事贯穿在一起,组成了一个有机的整体,从这个意义上讲,《姐妹》就是《都柏林人》的一篇导言。

| Abstract: | Dubliners is the famous short story collection of James Joyce. As the first story of Dubliners, The Sisters contains the three themes of paralysis, corruption and death which recur throughout the whole book. It is these themes that link the fifteen stories together and make them an integration. From this aspect, The Sisters could be looked as the introduction to Dubliners. |
