试论伦理学在科学中的地位

法律不过是具体的，最低的道德，因而都仅仅是一些具体的，特殊的，琐琐碎碎的规则；法律自身没有原则；法律是双道德原则为原则的，法律的原则，如正义，平等，自由等等，并不是法律，而是道德，因此，大体说来，一切社会活动最终便都是对于某种道德的实现，于是虽然一个社会的道德本身，不过是一纸空，是软弱无力的，因而并不是社会发展进步的基本原因；但是，一个社会实行何种道德，则是社会发展进步的基本原因，推行优良的道德是社会进步的基本原因；推行恶劣道德是社会停滞的基本原因。

A Tentative Study of the Position of Ethics in Science

Law is but morolity concretized and at its lowest level,and it is just composed of some concrete,specific and detailed regulations.Law itself does not have any principles.The takes moral principles as its principles.Principles of law,such as justice,equality,freedom,etc,are not law but morality,so,on the whole,all social activities are in the final analysis therealization of morality of a certain kind.Therefor,althongh the morality of a society is in itself a were scrap of powper,which is weak and powerless and is not the fundamental cause of social development and progression,yet what kind of morality a society practises determines whether or not the society can develop and progress:good morality helps a society progres while bad morality makes a society stagnate.
