Application of Multiple Speeds of Frequency Converters in Long-distance Material Mover Control

For long-distance material movers on a large workshop production line,the author of this paper designs a control system in which PLC controls the frequency inverter.The system can detect the directions of material movers and determine their different speeds to achieve the purpo-ses of greater production efficiency and energy conservation when they travel at different dis-tances.The paper focus on the analysis of key program modules concerning speed control,direc-tion detection,etc.
