文人画引书入画之利弊

引书入画对人画的成熟发展有利有弊。其利在于,对书法意趣的追求和对书写意义的强调,使绘画由传统的物象模拟转向物象意义的符号性传递,并突出笔墨形式的独立价值和画家精神人格的独立意义,使中国传统绘画艺术从再现性艺术走向表现性艺术。其弊在于,由于强调笔墨程式,导致绘画走上形式主义道路;由于重“意”轻“法”,游戏翰墨,造成绘画作品出现真假、优劣混杂的局面;由于追求凝炼简洁,破坏了画法的丰富多样性;由于书法直接并大量的进入,出现“书侵画位”的现象;由于强调骨法用笔,重笔轻墨,导致出现气韵受损的现象。

Advantages and Disadvantages of Calligraphy into Scholars'Paintings

Calligraphy into paintings has pros and cons in the full development of scholars' paintings. The advantages lie in the fact that the pursuit of charm of calligraphy and the emphasis on the meaning of handwriting make the painting resemble a symbolic passage ranging from traditional object imitation to object meaning and highlight the separate value of brush and ink and the independent significance of the painter's spiritual personality, thus leading the traditional Chinese painting art from reproduction art to performance art. The disadvantages consist in the following aspects; paintings typical of formalism are produced due to the emphasis on brush and ink form; there exist both paintings that are faked and paintings that are inferior because emphasis is put on the "meaning" rather than on the "rule", and brush & ink are employed for fun; the richness and variety of paintings is ruined due to the pursuit of refinement and brevity; the phenomenon of "calligraphy intruding into painting" appears as a result of the direct and enormous entrance of calligraphy; the painter's spirit and charm is damaged because emphasis is laid on stiff writing and because more emphasis is placed on calligraphy than on painting.
