丽水区域特色文化汉译英的探讨

文化翻译在国际文化交流中起着重要的作用，中国传统文化正通过翻译走向世界。对于一个地域特色鲜明的城市而言，英译其特有文化现象是必不可少的。在英译时译者既要忠实于它的文化内涵，又要使译文读者尽可能获得相同的感受，以达到积极的宣传效果。全文以浙江丽水别具特色的区域文化为例，论述这一原则，并结合实例，提出见解。

A Discussion of C-E Translation of the Peculiar Culture to Lishui

Chinese traditional culture is being transmitted into the world through cross-cultural translation which becomes more and more important in international communication.It is essential and necessary to translate our local and peculiar culture into English.This C-E translation is required to be both faithfuness to our native culture and closeness to target language so that our culture can be effectively publicized.The paper,taking Lishui city as an example,attemps to find some fexible and feasible strategies for translating peculiar culture to it.
