| 摘 要： | 凯瑟琳·曼斯菲尔德是20世纪伟大的英语短篇小说家。她的作品有挥之不去的幻灭感，她结合自身坎坷、阴郁的生活经历，如实地抓住生活中的片断和瞬间，透过平凡的生活现象，揭示出20世纪初西方社会存在的深刻主题——普通人从童年到成人各个阶段在日常生活的挤压下滋生的幻灭感。

| Abstract: | Katherine Mansfield was one of the greatest short story writers in the 20th century. This paper analyzed the disillusionment in her short stories and also analyzed how she deeply revealed the people＇s disillusionment from the childhood to the adulthood the theme at the beginning of the 20th century among the people in the west countries, combining her own bitter and dark life experience. |
