| 摘 要： | 福克纳是美国20世纪最重要的作家之一,他笔下的约克纳帕塔法县与杰弗生镇就像是他自己手中的一块魔方,虽然他想呈现出人性中最为美好的一面,可是又无法屏蔽人性中邪恶的凸现,福克纳试图在自己的创作中找到一个平衡点,即通过批判美国南方社会中的神话过去、种族压迫、禁锢人性的妇道观和清教主义等种种弊端,唤醒人们的良知。福克纳始终相信爱的暖流一定会打破恨的寒冰,美国南方这片情感的孤寂荒原终将蜕变为能够诠释人类美好愿望的伊甸园。

| Abstract: | Faulkner is one of the most influential writers of the 20th century in the world.The Yoknapatawpha county and Jefferson Faulkner has created in his works are very much like a magic cube in his hand.Although he intends to present a world of virtue,it is not possible to hind the dark side of human nature.Faulkner chose to criticize the idealization of the past,racial depression,inhuman female principles and Puritanism in American south to arouse people＇s conscience.Faulkner persistently believed that there would be no hate with the presence of love and the wasteland of American south will be ultimately transformed into a beautiful Eden full of all good wishes of human being. |
