| 摘 要： | 大学英语教学突出强调培养学生的英语综合应用能力，尤其是口语交际能力。然而，目前英语口语沉默期现象在大学生中是普遍存在的。因此，对于大学英语教师来说，对大学英语课程设置、教材教法及考试模式进行改革尝试，以采取合适的教学策略和手段来强化、优化输入和输出，缩短学生的英语口语沉默期，提高他们的英语口语表达能力，是教学过程中的重要任务。
