论秦穆公与秦繆公

秦穆公与秦繆公本是一号。即秦穆公为其本来的谥号。先秦之时,多口口相传,以致将秦穆公误读为秦繆公。后来之人,不加分析,于史书之中杂乱称之。而至战国末期,随着谥法的完善时,将其硬套入后来完整的谥法之中。这样,竟然使秦繆公之称成为秦穆公的代名词,而引起后人困惑。
