| Abstract: | Patron-driven acquisition is a model of book acquisition triggered on the basis of the patron＇ s instant demand. It is broadly used into collection development in foreign academic libraries now. This paper introduces the ap- plication of patron-driven acquisition in foreign academic libraries and studies its challenge and opportunity for library＇s information services as well as related publishing and distribution industries. |
