| Abstract: | Properties of optical bistability of nematic liquid crystal in planar F - P cavity are discussed in detail in this paper. Based on the theory of molecular reorientation in nematic liquid a ystal the analytical expressions for the threshold incident intensity of light and switching points of optical bistable loop are deduced. |
