英汉比较关联构式是一个比较独特、比较边缘的句型结构，有鲜明的句法结构和明确的构式义。这两种构式在句法、语义上具有一定的共性，但也体现出了各自不同的特征。从认知的角度分析英语CC标记语提前的原因是为了关注认知客体，以及强调这种认知客体；而从心理空间理论来看CC意义的建构主要是通过概念整合把不同的事件结构（包括施事、受事及相关位置移动或状态改变等信息）整合进一个新的认知图式中。

On the Syntax and Semantics of ECC and CCC

English and Chinese Comparative Correlative Constructions are relatively unique and peripheral constructions, which have distinct syntax and semantics. Though the two constructions have some characteristics in common in their syntax and semantics, they have their respective features. This paper analyses the reason why ＂the＋-er＂ must be fronted in ECC while CCC needn＇t from the perspective of cognition. In addition, it analyses their meaning construct under the guidance of Mental Space Theories, arguing that different event structures can be blended into a new cognitive schema through conceptual blending.
