The Characteristics and Change of Spring Festival Custom in Hunan Province

Hunan Spring Festival custom has been interacting with the custom in other districts in China, and they share some in common. But Hunan, located in south of China, has its local features covering distinct paddy culture, strong desire for harvesting, and colorful recreational activities. The same custom will be displayed in different forms and different customs from different minorities will affect each other. But unfortunately some of them have lost their uniqueness in the 21st century.
