生存于不同生境的人们的共同体,创造出了自己的文化。凭借这种文化,人们又共同结合成一个社会聚合体——民族。同一民族的成员凭借其特有的文化去征服、改造、利用和协调其生存环境,从生存环境中获取自身所需要的物质与精神养分,以创造所有成员的全部生存条件,来维系该民族的延续与发展。于是,生境、民族、文化形成为一个连环套。在这个连环套中,生境是民族生存的基础,文化既是民族在应对生境过程中的创造物,又是民族实现自身发展的前提。文化成为这个连环套中最关键的环节。在文化的规约下,民族具有自身的特征性。

Analysis on National Characteristics from the Perspective of Cultures

The community of people living in different environments create their own cultures.Relying on this culture,people integrate into a social polymer-nation.The members in the same nation conquer,remake,utilize and coordinate the living environment by making use of their peculiar culture,and obtain the material and spiritual nutrient they need to create all kinds of living conditions for all the members to make the nation keep developing.Thus,living environment,nation and culture form a chain in which living environment is the key base for nation to survive.Culture is not only the creation in the process of dealing with living environment but also the prerequisite for nations to realize their development.Culture becomes the key link in the chain.The societies and cultures of all the nations have gone through the stage of going from the simple to the complex and from the low to the hign.They develop independently by following the same line and according to the order of early to later.
