| Abstract: | The concept of reduced work capacity Cwep=(dW+dEp)/dT is put forward.It shows the differential equation of quasi-static process of Van des Waals′gas.Theformula of the molar heat capacity and the reduced work capacity in arbitrary quasi-static process is derived.It shows that the fundamental characteristic of a polytropicprocess of the gas is that the reduced work capacity of the process equals a constant. |
