| 摘 要： | 隐喻的翻译需考虑两种文化在认知和思维方面存在的共性和差异。由于人类在认知、思维方面本身存在诸多共性，隐喻的翻译应尽量采用直译，只有当喻体在不同文化中的象征意义存在差异时，方可采用意译。

| Abstract: | While translating metaphor, one has to take into account cultural phenomena and modes of thinking. Since man goes through more or less the same way in thinking and making generalizations, metaphor can be translated literally. Free translation can be employed only when there exists disparity in thoughts and cognition, and when the vehicles differ in different cultures. |
