从二次台海危机看美台军事合作困境

在二次台海危机中,美台联盟关系实际上陷入了合作困境,一方面由于联盟的约束力,美国不得不承担相应的“责任”；另一方面,出于自身利益考虑,美国又不希望台湾的自行其是将美国拖入更大的风险。因此,美国对台湾采取了既扶持又抑制的做法,并采取各种手段将自身风险减至最小。

Study of the Dilemma of Alliance Relationship between Chinese Taiwan and U. S. from Taiwan Strait Crisis

During the Taiwan strait crisis in the 1950s, alliance relationship between Chinese Taiwan and U.S. had got into dilemma. On one hand, U.S. had to take on its responsibility in term of the treaty; on the other hand, U.S. worried about to be involved in bigger risks as Chinese Taiwan wanted to do its own plan for its own interest. Therefore, U.S. reduced its risks to the least by both supporting and constraining Chinese Taiwan at the same time.
