| 摘 要： | 本文简单介绍了隐喻的历史和隐喻的基本特征，从文化的共性和个性出发，进行了英汉隐喻的跨文化对比，并通过实例讨论了英语隐喻的汉译，归纳了三种较常用的隐喻翻译法。
