| Abstract: | The article makes a study of a language phenomena--eup he mism, by studying its definition, formation and the relation between euphemism a nd linguistics. It investigates some linguistic principals followed and violated by euphemism, analyzes some pragmatic rules of common euphemism from linguistic point of view. And the article also deals with the communicative functions of e uphemism to some extent. |
