The Exploration and Practice of Teaching English Vocabulary

In the teaching of vocabulary,we should put priority to the reading and speaking of the vocabulary to enhance students’ spelling ability.In order to improve the efficiency of the teaching,the memory rules should be taken into consideration.Thus,the teaching of vocabulary should be in accordance with students’ cognitive ability.To break the memory barrier of memorizing words,we can impart students the knowledge of word formation,while to make the teaching more effective,we should put emphasis on students’use of language in context.
