The Energy Flow of Translation Ecosystem: Energy Pyramid

Since some one put forward the concept of translation ecosystem,many people have analyzed it from all kinds of perspectives.There are some similarities in composition between the natural system and translation ecosystem.This paper explores the energy flow's rules of the translation chain by means of the comparison between the translation ecosystem and the natural ecosystem,and of the energy flow rules"decreasing by stages and flowing in one direction"in the translation chain.The geometric figure,pyramid,reflects the energy flow's rules of the translation chaio very well.During the energy flow,there exists loss of the energy that is difficult to be absorbed by the next stage.In order to enhance the efficiency of the energy flow in translation,the target text should gain the energy from the source text as much as possible,which can perfect the target text.
