On the Different Ideas of Presenting Culture from the Designing of the National Galleries in Shanghai World Expo

On the basis of the case study of twelve national galleries in Shanghai World Expo,the present paper points out the difference between scientifically and technologically developed countries and scientifically and technologically backward countries in their understanding of the theme of expo and their different means of presenting their culture.It is held that the best interpretation of the theme of Shanghai World Expo is to promote advanced social ideology,encourage innovative spirits and advocate sustainable development concept.
