Influence of Hedges on Classroom Language for College English Teachers

Hedges are broadly used by the groups of individuals in order to achieve some communicative intentions.College English teachers will make their students actively participate in classroom interaction if they can use some hedges properly.By analyzing the significance of pragmatic hedges,this paper aims to arouse college English teachers’awareness in applying classroom language,and benefit teachers from using some hedges in their classroom English to improve their teaching.
