Affiliation: | Assistant Professor in Instructional Systems at Florida State University, where she specializes in learning theory applications on instruction and nontraditional research design. Beginning her career in instructional design and development, she moved to Iran to develop and implement training in that field for employees of Iran's educational radio and television network. Since then, Dr. Perkins has served as project director for studies and evaluations of statewide testing programs and the design and development of instructional programs in human services, teacher competencies, and instructional design. An active member of AERA, NCME, APA, and AECT, she also serves regularly as a technical reviewer of test specifications and items for the Florida Department of Education's Teacher Certifications Exam. |
