英语词汇意义的特点与词汇教学

摘    要:英语词汇意义错综复杂,具体表现在其多样性、层次性和可变性。其自身的特点增强了英语词汇教学的难度。本通过分析词汇意义的特点,运用认知语言学、词汇学及语义学的有关理论,揭示了基于词汇意义的特点产生对词汇教学的启示,并提出了着眼于词内层面,立足于此间层面,关注词外层面,强调词汇意义的多维的词汇教学方法。

Abstract:English word meaning, which has the characteristics of varieties, gradation and variation, is very complex. These characteristics make a word more difficult for the learners to master. Based on the relevant theories of Cognitive Linguistics, Lexicology and Semantics, the present article makes analyses of the characteristics of word meaning, and tries to reveal the enlightenment to word teaching and studying. It also puts forward a multiple-dimension word teaching method, which emphasize the word meaning by keeping an eye on the inner word grade, basing on the inter-word grade and paying attention to the outer-word grade.
