本通过对美国吉尔伯特市社区教育的考察分析，透视了该国在教育理念、教育管理体制、人才培养模式、校企合作等方面的成功经验及可资学习借鉴之处，同时注意到，美国的教育界，也在深入思考新的时代要求下对各层次教育进行改革，虚心学习包括中国在内的世界各国教育的长处与经验。

The Community Education of U.S.A.and Enlightenment

This paper, through the investigation and analysis of community education of American Gilbert city, discusses the successful experience and lessons in such aspects as educational idea, education management system, personnel training mode, cooperation between school and enterprise of this country. At the same time, the education circle of U.S.A. is also thinking about the reform to the education of every level to meet the requirement of the new era, and learning the advantages and experience from the countries all over the world including China.
